I'm nervous for the first time (this was supposed to have been uploaded Friday morning).

Thank you so much, Nate and Karen, for allowing me to stay in your beautiful home and enjoy your company. It was such an awesome experience meeting you.

Today, I head into Rocky Mountain National Park. I'm riding through Trail Ridge Rd. the entire way. Trail Ridge, the highest continuous roadway in America, rises from 7,500 feet in Estes Park to 12,200 feet at its highest point.

I'm scared about the elevation change and how it will affect my riding. Also, higher elevations here are known for quick, but ferocious, thunderstorms and there's rain in the forecast. We'll see how everything goes.

I'll let you know tonight if I'm still alive.

  2. Hi Aadil! I agree. The weather in New Jersey has been beautiful. I live on a hole in your backyard. Look for me.

    Love,
